The story, mission, and people behind the Anambra Daughters Association of Delaware Valley.
“We are daughters of Anambra — carrying the living flame of our culture across the Atlantic. ASDA-DV exists to ensure that our heritage, our health, and our daughters thrive in the Delaware Valley.”
— ASDA-DV President, Founding Member
ASDA-DV was founded in 2024 by a group of Anambra State women living across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware who recognized a need: a dedicated space for Anambra daughters to connect, preserve their culture, and support one another.
What began as informal gatherings quickly grew into a formal 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization — one with a clear mission, structured programs, and a growing membership of women committed to both their Igbo roots and their American futures.
